N-10-Formyltetrahydrofolate (10-Formyl-THF)
10-Formyl-THF is a source of single carbon units in de novo purine biosynthesis (Figure 22.4 and Figure 22.5). Carbons donated by 10-formyl-THF to the purine rings are shown in Figure 22.3.
