Intermediate Density Lipoprotein Complexes (IDLs)

IDLs are lipoprotein complexes that carry lipids in the bloodstream. IDLs are derived from VLDLs and can be converted into LDLs (See Figure 18.7). IDLs are composed of the following apoproteins:

Apo B-100, Apo C-I, Apo C-II, Apo C-III, Apo E
