3-Hydroxyacyl-ACP Dehydrogenase

3-hydroxyacyl-ACP dehydrase is part of the fatty acid synthase complex. It catalyzes the reaction that follows in fatty acid biosynthesis (Figure 18.27):

D-3-Hydroxyacyl-ACP <=> Trans-2-enoyl-ACP + H2O
