Dolichol phospho-mannose (Dol-P-Man) is an isoprenoid compound (90-100 carbons total) made from dolichol phosphate. It carriers mannose to the site of assembly of oligosaccharides to be used to make N-linked glycoproteins. Dol-P-Man is made from dolichol phosphate and GDP-Mannose.
