Phosphatidylserine

Phosphatidylserine is a glycerophospholipid CDP-diacylglycerol. Its biosynthetic reactions are shown in Figure 19.4, here, and the reaction below:

CDP-Diacylglycerol + Glycerol-3-Phosphate (or Myoinositol or Serine) <=> Phosphatidylglycerol-3-Phosphate (or Phosphatidylinositol or Phosphatidylserine) + CMP
