Getting Started Welcome to Interactive Differential EquationsTM 2006 Release. Interactive Differential Equations (IDE) is interactive software designed to enhance learning about differential equations. IDE includes over 90 interactive tools that uniquely illustrate abstract concepts, with applications drawn from engineering, physics, chemistry and biology. IDE topics include first- and second-order differential equations, linear and nonlinear systems, Laplace transforms, and series solutions. IDE can be used in a number of ways, from classroom demonstrations and discussions to laboratory and homework assignments. It can also be used in conjunction with any textbook, and fits a variety of teaching approaches and learning styles.
