How to use the Romeo and Juliet Tool

Setting Initial Conditions

• Click the mouse on the xy graphing plane to set the initial conditions for a trajectory.

Matrix Element Values

• Click the pointer to the left or right of each matrix element to decrease or increase its value.

Buttons

• [Clear] removes all trajectories and vectors from the graphs.
• [Draw Field] draws a grid of vectors over the xy-plane.
• [Pause] stops a trajectory without canceling it.
• [Continue] resumes the motion of a paused trajectory.
