- International Baccalaureate Diploma Program
IB is similar to AP in that it encourages active learning and laboratory work. Four basic concepts run throughout IB Biology: Structure and Function, Universality vs. Diversity, Equilibrium within Systems, and Evolution. There is also a detailed syllabus, examinations, and a mandatory interdisciplinary group project.
