Magda El Zarki is a Fulbright scholar and professor at the University of California, Irvine where she teaches a networking lab and a course in mobile and wireless networking in the Information and Computer Sciences Department. Her research interests revolve around wireless networks and communication systems. She earned her Ph.D. from Columbia and her B.S. from Cairo University in Egypt.
Jorg Liebeherr has been an associate professor in the computer science department for the last ten years at the University of Virginia. His interest areas range from multimedia networks to scalable multicast communications. He is currently the editor-in-chief of IEEE Network and is the US Editor of Computer Communications. He was born and raised in Cologne, Germany.
