How to save files to your desktop

Once you have located all of the files that you want to use and are ready to save files to your desktop:

1. Click the File Cart link in the upper nav to open the file cart. If you see files that you don't want to include in your download to your desktop, then click the Remove from File Cart link below the thumbnail (or the filename) for each file. If you want to remove all of the files click Remove All Items.

2. When you are ready to save your files to your desktop, click the Save Files to... button to start the save files wizard. You may want to create a folder on your desktop or elsewhere on your computer to contain the files you are about save to your desktop. Instructions on the save files wizard will instruct you on how to create the folder – the instructions will differ for PC and Mac users. The save files wizard allows you to move all of the files you've gathered into the folder that you've chosen. At the end of this process you'll see confirmation that your files have been saved.

Now you can use the files on your desktop for lecture presentation, for online use, or for any other educational purpose.
