How to gather files for use in presentations and online

There are two ways to navigate through the Media Manager resources: by using the Media Manager's graphical user interface to locate and add files to the file cart and then save the files to your desktop or by pulling files directly from the file folder directory structure on the root level of the Media Manager CD-ROM(s) and dragging and dropping the files onto your desktop.

Use the Media Manager's graphical user interface to easily locate art, multimedia, PowerPoint lecture presentation materials, and other assets associated with your Addison Wesley or Benjamin Cummings textbook. You can gather your selected files in the File Cart, and then use a wizard to quickly and easily save files to your desktop in a folder that you will create.

To begin gathering files, click the Select Chapter button and select your chapter from the list. Then click any of the content categories to the right (e.g., "Images") to begin browsing the available assets.
