DTUI Booksite

Discussion Lists

[Contributors | HCI Sites | SIGCHI]

There are two discussion lists for the dtui booksite:
  1. Instructors and Practitioners List (dtui@lists.acs.ohio-state.edu)

  2. The purpose of this discussion list is to provide a forum for instructors and practitioners of HCI, primarily with respect to curricular matters. It is open to all instructors and practitioners. To be placed on the mail list, please send a request via e-mail to the booksite director, including in your message a brief description of the position you hold. You will be added to the list manually as soon as possible (usually within 24 hours).

Once subscribed to the list you can post a message to all other subscribers by sending a message to dtui@lists.acs.ohio-state.edu. If you ever need to unsubscribe from the list you can do that yourself by simply sending a message to listserver@lists.acs.ohio-state.edu with the following single line as the body of the message:

    unsubscribe dtui

  3. Open DTUI discussion list (dtuistu@lists.acs.ohio-state.edu)

  4. This discussion list is for a wider audience, and in particular is intended to include students of HCI using the DTUI textbook and booksite. To subscribe to this list send an email message as follows:

    To: listserver@lists.acs.ohio-state.edu
    subscribe dtuistu Firstname Lastname

substituting your first name and last name were indicted.

Once subscribed to the list you can post a message to all other subscribers by sending a message to dtuistu@lists.acs.ohio-state.edu. If you ever need to unsubscribe from the list you can do that by simply sending a message to listserver@lists.acs.ohio-state.edu with the following single line as the body of the message:

    unsubscribe dtuistu

Only subscribers to the lists may send messages, which helps keep them free of spam messages. It also means that if you change your email address you need to subscribe again before a message from you will be accepted by the listserver.

Please send comments and suggestions to the Booksite Director
